En ce moment, c'est la folie des ligues sur ZDaemon \o/
Chaindude, en partenariat avec StealthCP et les serveurs FastHostsUK, a lancé une branche européenne pour la TDMania.
C'est quoi au juste ? Eh bien, c'est un peu comme l'ECL, sauf que c'est en équipe de 2. Pour ceux qui aiment le Team DM, c'est une occasion en or de s'éclater !
Pour l'instant, peu d'informations sont disponibles, du genre :
"Va-t'on garder la même équipe tout au long de la ligue ?"
"Peut-on choisir un équipier parmi un clan différent ?"
J'ai demandé ça à Chaindude en PM, on verra.

TDMania will run a shorter season than IDL or Zddl, and we're planning a 6-week regular season stage (one map per week, best of 3 wins). We're anticipating about 12 teams for each NA and EU continents, and we'd split these 12 teams into two groups. Since 6 teams will be in one group, everyone will get to play each other once during the regular season. Then, the top two (or four--we have to finalize this detail still) teams from each 6-team group will advance to playoffs/semis/finals.
You can pick your partner at your discretion, and there aren't any restrictions as to who it is. He/she could be a clanmate or simply a buddy that you play well with (I think even my partner may not be a DX member). I'm really excited about this because unlike IDL and ZDDL, we're shooting for both NA and EU divisions from the start. The proposed start date for the league is May or June (after IDL), but we're essentially all set with our site, forums, and IRC. It's just a matter of getting a couple TDMania-settings servers in Europe so that people can get accustomed to the style.
Another great thing is that players will get to vote on which maps will be played during the season. I discussed with Fastidious and the best way would be to have a forum thread for each WAD in consideration. In this thread, 3 solid maps would be presented and the players post in support of the one map that stands above the other two. We'll do this for all 6 maps for the regular season. We hope the Euro players will make their voice heard when these voting threads come about.

Vous pouvez vous y inscrire même si vous n'avez pas encore de partenaire, on peut choisir plus tard

StealthCP mettra aussi des serveurs FastHostsUK à disposition, donc c'est pas mal aussi, ils sont mieux que Platinum en ce moment
Il y a déjà du beau monde, et même des joueurs européens qu'on ne voit pas sur ECL. Faut y aller \o/

I just wanted to remind all the interested players for TDMania that preparations are underway for this inaugural season! To make things a bit more organized, we set up a list of teams (confirmed and unconfirmed) and players so that the signup/pairing process is more efficient.
